First Supper Symposium (FSS) is a collaborative feminist art project founded in 2013 by Gidsken Braadlie and Lisa Pacini to mark the centenary of women’s suffrage. Through art and dialogue, we aim to challenge, provoke, and inspire.

Our parole is: Equal space, equal rights.

A DECADE OF EVENTS, ACTIONS, AND SYMPOSIA

From the beginning, FSS has amplified voices demanding to be heard and perspectives challenging the status quo. Our stage has featured influential figures such as Judy Chicago, Judith Butler, Pussy Riot, the YES Men, A K Dolven, Lotte Konow Lund, Rosi Braidotti, and many others who drive change and push boundaries. We have hosted events addressing a range of critical issues, including feminism, ageism, technology, and more, bringing together artists, international speakers, students, seniors and administrators. We believe that artists are not merely responding to the world – they are shaping it.

FSS serves as a platform for action, embracing art as a force – a catalyst for societal change.
